Acclaimed as the wildest one-day whitewater run in the World, the Zambezi River is also recognized by rafting and kayaking enthusiasts as one of the top ten paddling rivers on the planet!  If you don't immediately associate the terms "Stairway to Heaven" and "Oblivion" with adventure then you haven't experienced Zambezi Whitewater!

The sport involves "surfing" the rapids on body boards accompanied by a qualified River Guide.  Basic riverboarding skills are taught in still water before progressing into moving water.  Enthusiastic boarders can stop at "play spots" along the way to surf, ride whirlies and "squirt" (best described as flying underwater).

The cruise is along the river boundary of the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park, around Siloka Island and back to The Waterfront jetty.The total cruise time is approximately 3 hours. Sunset cruises arrive back after sunset. From the boats, sightings or elephant, giraffe and even rhino coming down to the river to drink are common. There is also abundant, hippos, crocodiles and birdlife.

Jet boating is a thrilling new adventure on the Zambezi River in the Batoka Gorge below the Victoria Falls. Feel the wind in your hair and the spray in your face as the powerful jet boats speed through rapids, rush past gorge walls and spin on the flat water.

Rated by many sports anglers as the finest freshwater fighting fish in the world, the Tiger Fish is found in the waters of the Upper and Lower Zambezi.  It's one of 75 fish species found in the region. Angling in this part of the world consists of fly fishing, spinning and bait-fishing.

The canoe trails operate above Victoria Falls and are the perfect activity for those who want to experience the tranquility of the Zambezi River as they paddle downstream with the current in inflatable two-man canoes.
